The Ultraviolet meticulously recreates the unmistakable characteristics of classic optical vibration circuits, offering a unique flavor of modulation that brings your playing to life. Immerse yourself in the sound of the psychedelic 1960s with full stereo I/O and full MIDI capabilities.
Immerse yourself in the sound that has captivated musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, David Gilmour, and Doyle Bramhall II. Until now, the best versions of these sounds have been found in large, expensive products, but all that has changed with the entry of the Ultraviolet into the Strymon family!
UltraViolet is a hyper-accurate recreation of the classic Univibe sound that began with the original Shin Ei Univibe® in the late 1960s, but it goes far beyond those original units in terms of flexibility. In fact, all the interdependencies of the critical components of the original have been captured down to the smallest nuance, but innovation has also been brought by adding a new Blend mode to the original Chorus (50/50) and Vibrato (100% wet) settings to achieve a 70/30 mix of dry and wet for a more subtle effect. Three different Bias settings have also been added, allowing the intensity of the vibrato sound to be radically altered according to the needs of the music.
